Commercial Low Voltage Contractor in Orlando, FL

Cabling, fiber, networks, door access and integrated systems for commercial buildings, run from our home office on Lake Ellenor Drive.

Data Pro Communications is a low voltage contractor headquartered in Orlando, at 6925 Lake Ellenor Dr. We design, install and test the systems your building depends on: copper and fiber cabling, wired and wireless networks, access control, intercoms, cameras and the integration that ties them together. Our clients include property managers, general contractors, facility directors and business owners across Orange County.

The city has about 335,000 residents and a wide commercial base. Downtown towers and medical campuses sit a short drive from the convention district, airport cargo areas, college campuses and neighborhood main streets. Because our office is here, your project lead and installers are already close when the work begins.

Industries We Serve in Orlando

Large institutions shape the local market. The FAA classifies Orlando International Airport as a large-hub primary commercial service airport, and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority manages it along with Orlando Executive Airport. The airport also lists cargo facilities in its North, Center and South Tradeport areas, plus leased office and warehouse space in Foreign Trade Zone #42. Downtown holds Orlando Regional Medical Center, an 808-bed hospital, and the Orange County Courthouse with its 23-level tower. The Orange County Convention Center lists more than 2 million square feet of exhibit space.

Education and neighborhood business widen the mix. The University of Central Florida, just outside city limits about 13 miles east of downtown, enrolls more than 70,000 students, and Valencia College runs a West Campus on S. Kirkman Road and a downtown campus on W Livingston St. The Orlando Main Streets program supports 12 neighborhood commercial districts, including Mills 50, Ivanhoe Village and College Park. Around these anchors are the offices, clinics, schools, shops and apartment communities where most of our work happens.

Belle Isle, Edgewood, Lake Buena Vista and Bay Lake, each an incorporated city.

Unincorporated communities in Orange County

Bay Hill, Conway, Doctor Phillips, Holden Heights, Holden Lakes, Hunters Creek, Oak Ridge, Pine Castle, Rio Pinar, Sky Lake, Taft and Tangelo Park.

How We Deliver Projects in Orlando

01

Assessment

We walk the site with your facility lead or GC and count drops, doors and cameras while checking closets, ceilings and pathways. In occupied offices and schools we also note when each area can be worked.

02

Design

You receive drawings and a written scope showing every drop, reader, camera and rack. For jobs inside city limits, the sheets are prepared for the plan review that comes with the permit.

03

Deployment

Crews come straight from our Lake Ellenor Drive office and follow your GC's sequence on new builds. In occupied towers and campuses we phase the work by floor or wing.

04

Commissioning

We test each link and device, label both ends and train your staff on the new systems. Test results and as-built drawings go into your closeout package.

Frequently Asked Questions

What low voltage services do you provide in Orlando?+
We provide structured cabling, fiber, networks, Wi-Fi, access control, intercoms, cameras, audio, video and systems integration for commercial properties here. Most clients combine several of these under one scope. A single crew then handles the cable plant and the devices that run on it, with one set of drawings and test records.
Do you cover Lake Nona and Hunters Creek?+
Yes. Lake Nona is part of the City of Orlando, and Hunters Creek is an unincorporated Orange County community; both sit inside this service area. Our crews reach them from the same office, with the same project lead, testing and documentation we bring to any downtown job.
Can you handle multi-building or multi-site projects across Orange County?+
Yes. We set one cabling standard, one device list and one labeling scheme for every building or location, then link sites with fiber or wireless bridges where needed. Owners with several offices, schools or properties get matching systems they can manage together, plus separate records for each site.
How do permits and inspections work for low voltage projects in Orlando?+
Inside city limits, building permits go through the Permitting Services Division, which uses the ProjectDox digital plan review system. We confirm permit needs during planning, prepare drawings for review and keep test records ready for inspectors. Sites outside the city follow the jurisdiction that governs them.
Do you work on new construction and tenant improvements?+
Yes. On new builds we join the GC's schedule, set rough-in while walls are open and coordinate sleeves and conduit with other trades. Tenant improvements in existing buildings need more pathway planning around finished ceilings, live networks and landlord rules, and we cover those points during the site walk.
How does a site walk work?+
A project lead meets you at the property, reviews any drawings or floor plans and walks each area that will get cabling or devices. We check closets, ceilings, power and existing equipment and ask about access rules. A written scope and proposal follow the visit.
Which access control and video platforms do you install in Orlando?+
Brivo is our lead platform for cloud-managed access and mobile credentials, followed by PDK, Paxton, Axis and UniFi Access. For video we install Axis, Uniview and UniFi Protect cameras. DoorKing covers gates and telephone entry. Final choices follow your site and the people who will manage the system.
What documentation do we receive at handoff?+
You receive as-built drawings, cable test results, labeling schedules, device lists and system settings at closeout. Every cable is labeled at both ends, so your IT staff or a future contractor can trace any run. We also walk your team through the new systems before we leave.
Can you schedule work around business hours at an occupied Orlando site?+
Usually, yes. We phase work by floor, wing or room and can schedule loud tasks and cutovers before opening or after closing. For offices, clinics, schools and stores, your manager approves the phasing plan before work starts, so staff and customers keep their routine.
How do we start a project with you in Orange County?+
Send a short description of the property, the systems you need and your target date through the consultation form, or call (833) 776-0101. A project lead will follow up to book a site walk, and you will get a written scope and proposal after that visit.
