Maintenance & Managed Services for Commercial Security and Network Systems

Ongoing care for the cameras, door controllers and wireless networks your property already depends on.

Data Pro Communications provides commercial security system maintenance across Florida for owners, boards and facility teams who would rather hear about a fault before a tenant does. We enroll your existing equipment, check its health, try approved fixes remotely and send a technician when your plan includes one.

Orlando Headquarters

Agreements managed statewide.

Four Plan Levels

Reporting only up to on-site support.

One Team for Three Systems

Cameras, doors and network together.

We support maintenance programs including:

Single-Site Coverage

One building under one plan.

Multi-Site Portfolios

Several properties reported together.

Recovered Systems

Restored equipment enrolled after repair.

Remote Locations

Gatehouses kept reachable by LTE.

Engineered Maintenance Coverage for Commercial Environments

Each plan sets how much we do when a camera, recorder or door controller stops working. Coverage applies only to equipment listed in your agreement after an eligibility and compatibility review.

Monitor

Automated health checks on compatible devices, a weekly System Health Report, critical issue alerts under your notification policy, an incident and service log, and basic system documentation with maintenance recommendations. It suits smaller sites wanting visibility, without recovery or technician time.

Recover

Everything in Monitor, plus predefined recovery steps on supported hardware, approved by you in advance: re-poll, service restart, device or recorder reboot, gateway restart or PoE power cycle. A restart can briefly interrupt the device involved, and we log each attempt with its outcome. Technician support and site visits stay outside this plan.

Managed Care

A person behind the automation: monitoring, approved recovery and a contracted allowance of remote technician time that resets every quarter, with no on-site time. Basic asset enrollment may be part of onboarding, and the Annual System Review is advisory rather than a certification. It suits associations and offices wanting hands-off support.

Priority Care

For sites where a long outage causes real trouble: everything in Managed Care plus contracted on-site technician time. On month-to-month agreements, on-site time is earned gradually over the first months. Emergency and after-hours service is never included in a plan and is billed separately; Priority Care members get priority access to that schedule when a technician is available.

All plan support, response targets and scheduling follow our published business hours. Higher plans carry faster targets, meaning acknowledgment, triage and start of service, not a repair or restoration time, and those targets may be suspended or extended during hurricanes, declared emergencies or widespread outages. Agreements run 12 months or month to month. Included allowances are labor only and do not roll over, parts and equipment are billed separately, and no plan replaces a manufacturer warranty. New equipment, expansions, lifts, permits and third-party licenses fall outside every plan. Maintenance is not a promise of security, constant operation or protection from network threats.

What Monitoring Means, and What It Does Not

Monitoring, in every plan we sell, means automated system-health checks of your equipment. No plan includes continuous human video monitoring or live viewing, alarm verification, police notification or guard services. Checking recording status also does not store or back up footage: what you can retrieve depends on the system's own retention, and archive or cloud backup is a separate custom service. Remote door unlocks follow an approved procedure with designated contacts.

Optional Add-On Services

Add-ons are open to plan members and to customers without a plan. Each one runs from an accepted quote or work order, and parts, lifts, permits and repairs are separate.

Camera Cleaning & Health Check: cameras reachable with a standard ladder.

Recording & Retention Audit

Video Footage Search & Export: limited by your recorder's retention.

Door Hardware Inspection

Access Rights Review & Report: changes only after your approval.

Lockdown / Emergency Procedure Test: not a code or life-safety certification.

Gate Entry / Intercom Inspection

Network Rack & Equipment Inspection: physical only, no configuration or security review.

Rack Clean-Up & Cable Management

Preventive Maintenance Visit

Hurricane Readiness Check

Post-Storm Inspection: a damage list and repair quote, not priority storm response.

LTE Connectivity & Remote Access

Gatehouses, pool buildings and entrance poles often lack dependable wired internet. We offer cellular service in two distinct forms:

LTE added to an active planStandalone LTE
IncludedDedicated connection, modem/router and SIM, monitoring and troubleshooting of the LTE linkDedicated connection, modem/router and SIM, remote-access setup for the designated system, LTE link troubleshooting
Care of cameras, doors and networkStill set by your plan level: monitoring, recovery, support and on-site timeNot included: no weekly health reports, automated recovery, technician support, on-site time or plan benefits
Problems in the underlying systemHandled under your planQuoted separately

Both offers depend on carrier coverage and signal, and neither promises speed or uninterrupted service. The line serves the designated system only, with no guest, resident or office internet, and the LTE equipment remains Data Pro property.

Built for Commercial Security and Network Systems

Many systems we enroll came from another installer, so we start with an inventory.

Commercial Security Camera Maintenance

For security camera systems, we track whether each camera and recorder is online and recording, without keeping copies of the video. On Recover or higher, a frozen camera can be power cycled before anyone drives out.

Access Control Maintenance

Door faults get noticed fast: a reader ignoring badges or a lock that will not release. We cover the access control equipment named in your agreement, from readers and controllers to door hardware.

Managed Network / Wi-Fi Maintenance

Cameras and doors usually ride on the same switches, gateways and access points as your Wi-Fi. When contracted, we cover the physical network infrastructure we installed or support: switches, access points, gateways, racks, patching and network power. IT administration, firewall or security configuration reviews and network security services stay with your own provider.

HOA / Condominium Maintenance

Boards turn over, and system knowledge leaves with them. A plan gives the association a weekly record of entrance cameras, amenity doors and gates to share at meetings.

Commercial Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance Visits, rack clean-up and door hardware inspections can be quoted with or without a plan, along with pre-season and post-storm checks.

Project Coordination & Execution

Starting a plan follows clear steps, with your manager or board kept informed.

01

Plan Selection & Inventory

You choose a plan and the systems to include, and we confirm brands, device counts and access.

02

Agreement & Eligibility

You sign a 12-month or month-to-month agreement, and unsupported devices are flagged first.

03

Access, Gateway & Baseline

You provide credentials and remote access, we deploy a monitoring gateway where needed, and an initial baseline assessment documents existing faults, which are quoted separately rather than repaired by the plan.

04

Recovery Approvals

On plans with automated recovery, you approve which restart actions we may take.

05

Service Activation Date

Coverage, targets and allowances start on the activation date we confirm after onboarding, and weekly reports begin.

Standards & Compliance You Can Rely On

Service calls follow the same documented practices as our installations.

BICSI-Aligned Repairs

Replacement cabling follows BICSI practice.

ANSI/TIA Standards

Rerun links meet ANSI/TIA guidance.

Tested Before Closeout

Repaired links are tested before we leave.

Documentation & Labeling

Enrolled devices are recorded and labeled.

You want equipment problems found early by a team that can also fix them. We put health reporting, remote recovery and technicians under one agreement, so you never chase three vendors.

Weekly health reports in plain language.

Remote recovery only for actions you approve.

Cameras, doors and network gear together.

Technician support on the upper two plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a maintenance and managed services plan cover?+
Existing surveillance, access control and network or Wi-Fi equipment that we list in your agreement. Depending on the plan, you get automated health checks, weekly reports, alerts, approved remote recovery and technician support. Each device passes an eligibility and compatibility review first.
How do the four plans differ?+
Monitor checks health and reports on it. Recover adds approved restart and power cycle attempts on supported gear. Managed Care adds a quarterly allowance of remote technician time and an Annual System Review. Priority Care adds contracted on-site time and priority access to billable after-hours scheduling when a technician is available.
Does a maintenance plan include someone watching our cameras?+
No. No plan includes continuous human video monitoring, live viewing, alarm verification, police notification or guard services. Our monitoring is automated: it checks whether cameras, recorders, readers and network devices are online and healthy, then alerts your contacts to critical issues. Video Footage Search & Export is a separate add-on.
Can you maintain a system another company installed?+
Yes, in many cases. We review your brands, firmware and site access, then confirm which devices can be enrolled. A baseline assessment before activation records existing faults; those are documented and quoted separately, because the plan does not repair pre-existing problems automatically. Coverage starts on the confirmed activation date.
Is new equipment included in the plan?+
No. Plans maintain what is already installed at your property. Replacement parts are billed separately, and new devices, expansions, lift rentals, permits and third-party licenses are quoted as their own scope. We tell you when a repair needs a part before ordering it.
How fast do you respond when something fails?+
It depends on your plan; higher plans carry faster targets during our published business hours. A target means we acknowledge, triage and begin service within that window, not that a repair is finished. Hurricanes, declared emergencies or widespread outages can suspend or extend targets, and after-hours work is billed separately.
Do you offer LTE for gatehouses and remote buildings?+
Yes, where carrier coverage allows. Added to a plan, LTE supplies a dedicated link while the plan keeps maintaining your systems. Standalone LTE is connectivity only, with remote-access setup and link troubleshooting but no health reports, recovery or technician time for the equipment behind it. Neither version promises speed or uninterrupted service.
Is a maintenance plan the same as IT support?+
No. We cover the physical layer we installed or support: switches, access points, gateways, racks, patching and network power. IT administration, user accounts, computer support, firewall or security configuration reviews and protection against network threats are not included, so you keep your IT provider for those.
Which contract terms are available?+
You can choose a 12-month agreement or a month-to-month agreement. Support time in a plan is used within its period and does not roll over. Parts are billed separately. We walk your board or management team through the agreement before signing.
Can one plan cover several properties?+
Yes. Property managers and associations can enroll multiple sites, each listed in the agreement. Weekly reports can be grouped by property so you see which locations need attention. We confirm eligibility site by site, since equipment and internet service often differ.
